Monarch Secures Contract for New Deakin ELC

Monarch have been awarded the Design and Construct contract for the new Deakin Early Learning Centre (ELC), transforming the site of a former church into a community hub for the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn (ADCG).

Spanning 948 m², the new ELC will accommodate up to 120 children, addressing the growing need for high-quality childcare services in this area of Canberra. Beyond childcare, the centre will provide a welcoming space for parents to connect, promoting a sense of community. The flexible design allows for future adaptability as the childcare model evolves, with opportunities for the ELC to host weekend activities, meetings, and social events for the broader community.

Additionally, the redevelopment includes construction of two new four-bedroom, two-storey townhouses, each with a double garage.

Monarch has been working closely with Cox Architecture and ADCG to finalise the design, and construction has now commenced onsite.
