Community Support
We believe giving back and making a positive impact in our community is an important part of doing business. Monarch supports a range of organisations and community groups that contribute to the health and wellbeing for those in need, and we look forward to continuing this support through the strong partnerships we have formed.
Karinya House.
Monarch have a close, long-standing relationship with Karinya House; a not-for-profit organisation providing supported accommodation, transitional housing and outreach services to vulnerable and at risk pregnant and parenting women and their families who are in crisis.
After constructing a new purpose-built facility in 2016, our relationship has only continued to grow. As an official corporate partner of Karinya, Monarch staff continue to donate their time for ongoing improvements and minor additions to the facility as required.
Home Starter Packs
Continuing this support, Monarch, in partnership with Harvey Norman, have created Home Starter Packs containing key whitegoods and appliances that are given to mums who are leaving Karinya and beginning a new life of independent living. Since the first Home Starter Pack was received in December 2017, Monarch have delivered 37 packs to help women and children establish their new homes.
‘I commend Monarch for both their professional competence, experience and dedication in building our new purpose-built facility as well as their generosity and example in corporate citizenship and care for some of the most vulnerable women and children in our community.’

Annual Fishing TOurnAMENT.
Each year, Monarch hosts the Annual Bream Tournament in Tuross Head, NSW, bringing together employees, contractors and local partners for a few days of friendly competition. The event also serves a greater purpose; raising funds for organisations making a meaningful difference in our community.
Since 2016, the tournament has raised more than $225,000 for charities across Canberra and the South Coast. We’re grateful to the many sponsors and participants who have supported the event and helped it grow year after year.
Organisations supported through the tournament include Ronald McDonald House Charities, Roundabout Canberra, the Ricky Stuart Foundation, Karinya House, Lifeline Canberra, Parkinson’s ACT, the Eurobodalla Disaster Relief Fund, the Tuross Head Rural Fire Brigade, and Win the Day Charity.
Annual charity Golf Day.
The Monarch Annual Charity Golf Day is held each year in support of a local charity. The event brings together clients, partners and friends for a relaxed round of golf, with all proceeds directed toward initiatives that strengthen our community.
Most recently, the day raised $52,000 for the Ricky Stuart Foundation. This was an outstanding result that will help provide essential resources and services for individuals with autism and their families.
The Golf Day reflects Monarch’s ongoing commitment to giving back and creating a meaningful, lasting impact beyond the projects we deliver.
Sporting Clubs & Programs.
Batemans Bay Seahawks - Principal Partner
Monarch Building Solutions is proud to be the Principal Partner of the Batemans Bay Seahawks, committing to a three-year partnership as the club debuts in the AFL Canberra Premier Division in 2026.
Our support extends across both the senior men’s and women’s teams, reinforcing a shared commitment to developing local talent and creating opportunities for athletes within the region. All home games will be played at Monarch Park within the Hanging Rock Sports Complex. We look forward to supporting the club as it takes this exciting next step and continues to grow regional sport on the South Coast.
Over the years, Monarch have supported many sporting clubs and programs in the Canberra, Albury and the South Coast through sponsorships, in-kind support and participation in fundraising events.
Monarch sponsors the Broulee Boardriders Club, backing local surfers and the strong coastal community that brings them together. From groms to seasoned competitors, we’re pleased to play a small part in supporting grassroots sport on the South Coast.
The North Woden Tennis Club have been an ongoing partner with Monarch, having recently received an upgrade to their facility with new wheelchair access and amenities refurbishment. This upgrade is another step toward assisting sporting clubs and associations to grow participation and to get Canberrans active.
